Breathe nightclub revitalizes Delray Beach’s scene

If the opening weekend of Breathe – a new nightclub in Delray Beach, Florida – was any indication, the area could soon become a hotspot for those looking for a rousing evening on the town. According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, locals couldn’t have possibly missed that something was going on that evening. Among the many attractions outside the club was a belly dancer and two camels. Fire-eating dancers wove in between the fine dining furniture and wowed guests with their skills. The entire evening felt like something out of Arabian Nights, and owners hope they can sustain momentum for quite some time.

“Our authentic Mediterranean fusion-style cuisine, coupled with a sexy and alluring atmosphere, is sure to make Breathe one of the hottest dining and late-night destinations on Atlantic Avenue,” general manager Sylvie Benloulou told the news source. “We’re going to have live entertainment nightly and we’ll be serving lunch and keeping our dinner menu open late into the night.”

Of course, there’s far more to Breathe than the cuisine. In fact, the club also features a lavish VIP area where guests can enjoy bottle service in a more private atmosphere. According to the source, these rooms have a heavy Mediterranean atmosphere and even come with a butler. Flat-screen televisions will allow guests to enjoy themselves while they sit back and sip on their cocktails.

Head chef Marcel Ivan has crafted a menu that includes kebobs, scallops and a slew of other dishes that are sure to please even the most discerning palette. Club owners are confident that guests will continue to visit Breathe, not only for its rich aesthetic but for the delightful food.

Those thinking of opening their own nightclub can learn a bit from Breathe. The owners have found an area that may be somewhat lacking in nightlife and are aiming to revitalize it. Being the first business of this kind in an area is an incredible advantage – it allows you to set the standard that everyone else has to follow. With the right choices of nightclub furniture and a carefully-curated food and drink menu, you may be able to see a steady stream of regular customers for quite some time.
